Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane has been ruled out of England’s friendly clash against Brazil and Germany following a scan on an injury that leaves Gareth Southgate’s squad in a difficult situation for the international break.
Kane picked up an injury in Tottenham’s 1-0 win against Crystal Palace, he stayed in London for treatment while the other England players went for duty, starting their preparations for the game against Germany on Friday.

Alongside Kane, his team-mate Harry Winks is also out of the games having twisted his ankle during the same match, providing a further blow Three Lions squad.
Gareth Southgate has already lost key midfielder Dele Alli to injury and England’s medical staff spent large parts of the day liaising with their counterparts at the London club.
Following the injuries of Harry Kane and Winks, Jake Livermore from West Bromwich Albion was called up to the international squad.
The Tree Lions have their first training session this Tuesday and Gareth Southgate, who has added Everton centre-back Michael Keane to his squad, will be disappointed if both Tottenham Hotspur stars miss out.
Kane has already missed Spurs’ clash against Manchester United due to a hamstring injury but his latest issue is unrelated, having taken a kick during the last weekend.
